What Hubdoc costs in Australia
Hubdoc is included with Xero's business plans at no extra cost, so if you're on one, you've already got it. On its own, without Xero, it's A$17 (US$12) a month after a 30-day free trial. Both came off Xero's and Hubdoc's own pages on 27 September 2026. What it doesn't do is read the line items, so those are still yours to type. Free software, paid for in evenings.

What moves the number
- On a Xero business plan, Hubdoc costs nothing extra. Xero Central says a Xero organisation on a business edition pricing plan has Hubdoc included in its subscription.
- It stays included only while it's connected to Xero. Hubdoc's help centre says a Hubdoc organisation disconnected from Xero is downgraded, is no longer included in the Xero subscription, and needs its own payment details.
- The standalone price is in US dollars, so what lands on an Australian card moves with the exchange rate.
Hubdoc's page gives the price in USD and says nothing about GST. Read off Hubdoc's own pricing page on 27 September 2026. Prices move, and this page will lag them. Check the vendor before you decide.
Free stops at the total
Hubdoc reads the supplier, the date and the total, plus an invoice number or due date if one's printed. Its own help centre says it doesn't extract line items: you type them in, or save them in a supplier rule. Documents reach it by upload, its mobile app, or an intake address that bills get forwarded to. eggz AI reads the bill where it lands in Gmail or Missive, takes every line and the GST off the document, and sends it to Xero.
