Looking for an AutoEntry alternative?
eggz reads bills out of Gmail and Missive the moment they land, posts them to Xero with the line items on them, and raises the quotes and invoices going back out.
The short answer
AutoEntry charges by the credit, and the credit cost depends on the document. An invoice costs one, an invoice with line items costs two, a supplier statement two, a page of bank statement three. Fifty bills a month with line items is a hundred credits, which is a plan up. eggz reads line items as part of reading the document, connects to Gmail and Missive directly instead of a forwarding address, and covers the outbound half that AutoEntry does not: a quote under your own template, and the accepted quote turned into the invoice.
What AutoEntry is good at
- Bank and credit card statement extraction, at three credits a page.
- Purchase orders and mileage, so it covers document types we do not.
- Unlimited users, unlimited clients and a partner portal for accounting firms, on every plan.
- It works with Sage and QuickBooks as well as Xero.
Where eggz is a different answer
- Gmail and Missive connected natively, so bills are read where they arrive instead of being forwarded or uploaded.
- Quotes and invoices raised in eggz and published to Xero, with an accepted quote becoming the invoice in one click.
- Nothing to count. No credits, no line item surcharge, no overage arriving on the next bill.
- Built in Australia, for Australian GST.

Stay with AutoEntry if
- Pages of bank and card statement are most of what you process each month.
- You are on Sage or QuickBooks rather than Xero.
