1
Add it to Chrome
Open the eggz Tab Manager & Bill Capture listing on the Chrome Web Store, click Add to Chrome, and confirm.
2

3
Click the button
A card opens on top of the page you are reading. Nothing on the page moves or resizes, because the card floats over it.Would you rather have a panel that docks to the side of the window? That is a setting, and you can change it at any time. See Two ways to open it.
- Welcome to eggz Tab Manager tells you what it is for. Click Get started.
- Connect your eggz account offers Sign in to eggz or Skip for now. Signing in is optional. Workspaces, tab tools, memory saving, snapshots and backup all work without an account. Signing in adds the AI assistant, document upload and bill capture.
- One workspace to start is the same form as step 2 below, offering to turn the tabs you already have open into your first workspace. Choose Skip for now if you would rather do it yourself.
- Youâre all set finishes up. Click Open AI assistant and you are into the app.
Step 2: Make your first workspace
A workspace is a saved set of tabs with a name, an icon and a colour. Make one per client, per project, or per hat you wear. The welcome offers to build your first one out of the tabs you already have open. If you skipped that, or you want another:1
Click New
In the card (or side panel), find the Workspaces heading and click New beside it.
2
Name it and pick a look
Type a name, such as âBirdsong Potteryâ or âQuarterly numbersâ, then choose an icon and a colour from the rows underneath. A name is required. The rest have sensible defaults.
3
Click Create Workspace
The tabs you already have open are added to it automatically, so your current session is saved the moment the workspace exists.
Step 3: Move your first tab
Say you have a supplierâs price list open, and it belongs with a different client.1
Find the tab in the list
At the top of the card is an Open Tabs section listing every tab you have open. Your tab is in there.
2
Drag it onto a workspace
Press and hold on the tabâs row, then drag it down onto the workspace you want. A small card follows your cursor saying what will happen, for example âMoving 1 tab to Marchmont Cafe â hold â„ Option to copyâ.
3
Let go
The tab is saved into that workspace and closed here. A message appears at the corner of the screen, âMoved 1 tab to Marchmont Cafe.â, with an Undo button beside it for ten seconds.
